CULTURAL WORKSHOPS
Workshops are occasionally organized in Paris, an opportunity to meet around Japanese and Korean culture in the very contemporary and elegant setting of a private apartment in the 7th arrondissement, where attention to detail and the element of surprise are key elements.
The exact dates of the next sessions in 2025, and the booking modules, will be announced here, on Instagram , and via the newsletter ( to subscribe to the newsletter > ).

THEMES
Discover and Practice Japanese Urushi Lacquer
The extraordinary beauty of Japanese lacquer (urushi), with its deep blacks, its immutable techniques and its objects that span the centuries, are an immense source of inspiration.
This workshop will allow us to get as close as possible to the magic of Japanese lacquer, in its cultural and historical dimension but also by practicing black urushi lacquer (the most precious) directly on wooden objects.
Japanese Incense, Listening to it and Making it
Did you know that in Japan, during kōdō (one of the three traditional arts along with the tea ceremony and ikebana) it is about “listening” to the incense?
This workshop is like a parenthesis of sweetness during which we marvel, we are astonished, we learn, we create (incense), we share. It is very contemplative, very playful too, and of course, wonderfully beautiful.
THE KOREAN ART OF PACKAGING
Pojagi, a fabulous Korean art, is a way of wrapping and embellishing objects of different sizes and shapes, the fabric that is used thus becomes a gift in itself and reflects the desire to bring luck to the recipient.
During this rare workshop (as this art is so little known in France) we will guide you step-by-step through an introductory session to this elegant facet of Korean culture and teach you some pojagi wrapping techniques.
