Japanese light blue-white porcelain vase

Sale price€114,00

A beautiful faceted Japanese vase in white porcelain with light blue highlights, created by Shigeo Mashiro, the talented designer and founder of Sfera, and handmade in Sanin, Shimane Prefecture.

The thickness is thicker than typical porcelain and gives the material a very soft feel. It is fired in an ascending kiln using Shimane clay, in a region where porcelain work is rarer (usually ceramics are found instead). This piece is carefully turned on a potter's wheel, and the rounding of the side surface is also done by hand.

A vase that can hold delicate bouquets or minimalist branches, depending on the occasion and the mood.

A precious object of decoration in the spirit of wabi sabi that will bring all the delicate beauty of Japan into your home.

Please note that this is a unique piece.
