Cypress (Hinoki) Japanese room fragrance diffuser

Sale price€87,00

Like a walk through the cypress forests of Kiso, Nagano, this fragrance diffuser is the quintessence of Japanese tranquillity. It was designed and created by Ohnishi Tsune, a traditional fan maker based in Kyōto for over 100 years.

The artisans at Ohnishi Tsune have applied their extensive fan-making expertise, in association with a ceramist and a perfumer, to create this diffuser.

A Kyomizu-yaki porcelain base, a lovely soft green with a rounded shape, is used to place the liquid cypress (hinoki) fragrance (1/2 bottle) at the bottom. Next, the small openwork bamboo fan is placed, which absorbs the fragrance and diffuses it subtly and delicately into the atmosphere. The components are presented in a white cardboard box closed with a knotted cord.

This is a truly original perfume diffuser, a superb object that will decorate your home magnificently while diffusing a very pleasant scent of Japanese cypress (hinoki).

ADVICE FOR USE With 1/2 bottle, the fragrance will last for about 3 months. If you find that the fragrance in the room is faint (particularly at the beginning of use), you can dip the end of the fan (the one that's usually out in the open) in the liquid for a few seconds before repositioning it as normal. Once the smell has completely faded and there's no more liquid at the bottom of the porcelain, pour in the 2nd half of the bottle.

The shipping costs will be calculated and added at the finalization of the basket.

The art of wrapping

The precious objects are wrapped in a beautiful cloth beautifully tied according to the little-known art of Korean pojagi. Details and conditions >
